Bachelor of Education or B.Ed is a 2 years professional undergraduate degree that can be pursued after completing a bachelor's or master's degree from recognized institutes in relevant streams. To pursue a Bachelor of Education course, one has to take the relevant B.Ed entrance exam for admission to their desired college or admission can also be based on merit in the qualifying exam. A B.Ed course is mandatory for candidates who want to make their career in the field of teaching.
Candidates must have completed Graduation in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates and 55% for Professional courses).
